-Fresh buttermilk, cow’s milk, sugarcane juice, limewater and pomegranate juice
-Mild laxatives like Isabgol, Kumari (Aloe vera) are useful to tone up the sluggish liver functions
-Proper physical and mental rest
-Mild floor and free hand abdominal exercises
-Yoga and Meditation
Don'ts
-Consumption of heavy food without proper physical exercise
-Consumption of hepato-toxic agents like alcohol, chemicals and hepatotoxic drugs like steroids and painkillers
-Excessive intake of tea and coffee
-Smoking and consumption of pan masala and tobacco chewing
-Oily, spicy and irritant food items , non-vegetarian food
-Fats and protein rich food like confectioneries and bakery items, milk products like curd, cheese, etc
-Irregular eating habits like excessive eating or excessive fasting
-Physical and psychological stress
-Daytime sleeping or sleeping immediately after consuming food
-Sedentary life style
